Our Professional Cleaning Process
Inspection & Preparation
We examine the floor condition to identify high-traffic wear zones and loose seams, clearing away surface dust and loose debris before applying any liquid cleaners.
Low-Moisture Pre-Treatment
Our team applies a pH-neutral, eco-friendly pre-spray specifically formulated for luxury vinyl to break down sticky residues, oil, and grime without oversaturating the planks.
Soft-Bristle Mechanical Agitation
We utilize specialized floor equipment equipped with ultra-soft brush agitation to gently scrub deep into the texture of the plank surface without scratching the protective wear layer.
Controlled Moisture Removal
Using high-efficiency controlled extraction without hot water, we immediately remove dirty water and cleaning residue, ensuring low moisture exposure to protect plank edges and adhesive layers.
Drying & Finishing
We quickly dry the surface and perform a light buff to eliminate streaks, restoring a uniform, beautiful luster across your entire luxury vinyl floor.
Why Regular Maintenance Matters
While LVP is renowned for its resilience, fine grit and dirt act like sandpaper over time, dulling the factory protective coating and degrading seam integrity. Regular professional maintenance prevents premature wear, eliminates stubborn build-up, and keeps your floors clean, hygienic, and vibrant for years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to wet-clean hardwood?
Yes, as long as the moisture stays low. Water is what hurts wood, so we lightly mist a pH-neutral cleaner, scrub with soft brushes, and pick it right back up. No puddles, ever.
Will you damage my LVP?
No. The top layer of LVP handles water fine, but the layers underneath don’t. That’s why we keep moisture low, use gentle brushes, and never use a heavy rotary machine or steam.
Why shouldn’t I use a steam mop?
Steam pushes hot moisture down into the seams. On laminate and LVP that can cause swelling, warping, or buckling that can’t be fixed.
Why does my floor look dull or sticky?
Usually it’s leftover residue from oil soaps or cleaner mixed too strong. That film grabs dirt. A deep clean takes the buildup off and brings the shine back.
Can you wax my wood floor?
No. Most wood floors today have a urethane coating, and wax should never go on top of it. If yours was already waxed, it has to be carefully stripped off.
